‘Last years’ fashions are fine’ agree London Fashion Week

Designers, stylists and models at this year’s London Fashion Week have agreed to showcase the same clothes as last year as there is no point in buying a whole load of new outfits just for the sake of it.

Steve Raffell of the London Fashion Council explained; ‘We looked at the dresses and everything from London Fashion Week 2005, and thought ‘Actually, what’s wrong with all this stuff? It still fits, it’s not worn out yet, it was quite expensive, so why change it?’

There were gasps as the models stepped out onto the catwalk, showcasing outfits that had been in their wardrobe for a whole year. Photographers lowered their cameras thinking there must have been some mistake. But as Steve Raffell explained, the mistake was continually getting new clothes when there was nothing wrong with the old ones.

‘Frankly it’s come as a big relief’ he explained. ‘After a year racking our brains for the big new look we finally hit upon the answer to the eternal question What Is The New Black? Well – it’s black.’
