Reports have emerged that Queen Elizabeth II has sold her ticket to this year’s FA cup final on eBay. The match between Manchester United and Chelsea is a sell out with tickets changing hands for over a thousand pounds.
The Queen who uses name ‘Londonliz1952’ has had the ticket for sale through the online auction site for a week. Her description of the ticket claimed that it was ‘as close to the royal box as you can get’ and ‘from a trusted and reliable source.’
A check on her trading history reveals that she has a mixed feedback rating with one buyer claiming that she never answered phone calls and the ‘Charles and Di’ wedding tea set was clumsily glued back together and a little Hitler moustache drawn on Diana with indelible marker. Another buyer questioned whether Sri Lanka was technically hers to sell.
One royal aide was fuming at the cup final ticket revelation. Henry Martin a long-standing employee said ‘the sly old bag said I could have it; she knows I am a massive blues fan. I really went out of my way to indulge her over the last few weeks, ironing her copy of the Racing Post and everything.’
The tickets have been bought by a taxi driver from South London, who will be seated beside Prince Philip. An FA spokesman said ‘We are a bit worried about swearing and racist remarks, but I expect the cabbie has heard it all before.’
