Romford Council bans nice dogs
Dogs that are not dangerous have been banned by an Essex local authority concerned that certain species of dogs are being used as companions, family pets or even as Guide Dogs for the Blind. Romford Council has stipulated that only American Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers and Rottweillers are sufficiently macho for the town and dog watchers will be on hand to enforce the Nice Dogs Ban. ‘We had a report that a Cocker Spaniel puppy was wagging it’s tail and licking the hand of local children. How gay is that?’
