Teenager completes sentence

Experts have been stunned by the discovery of a complete, extended and grammatically correct sentance being uttered by a teenager. The series of words, widely reported as being ‘I’m going out for a pizza tonight with David and Michelle and we might go along to the youth club later’, was left on his parents’ voicemail by Alex Crowther, a 16-year-old GCSE student from Bakewell, Derbyshire. They immediately contacted James Montgomery, Professor of Communication Studies at the nearby University of Central England, who confirmed that it was genuine.

Alex later extrapolated on his evening plans with an even more complex sentence using adjectives, connectives and sub-clauses, to which his mother replied ‘Yeah, whatever’.
