Venice to market itself as ‘Birmingham of the Adriatic’
Instead of promoting the ‘clichéd’ historic churches, gondolas, and atmospheric architecture of traditional campaigns, it will now attract UK tourists by highlighting similarities to the Midlands town including the presence of international retail brands, places for a proper Skinny Mocha Frappuccino, and plenty of convenient ways to get out.
