Pestilence denies Four Horsemen of the Apocalyse reunion
Pestilence has scotched growing rumours regarding an impending reunion of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. In a prepared statement, Mr Pestilence said: ‘despite recent global events, I can confirm that there are absolutely no plans for a reunion.’
War, Famine, Death and Pestilence have not toured together since their acrimonious split in 2007.The breakup was attributed to ‘artistic differences’, triggered by the attempted introduction into the group of so-called ‘Fifth Horseman’, Derek Rowbottom. Messrs Famine and Rowbottom did a brief ‘unplugged’ tour as The Two Cyclists of Armageddon to public indifference.
Mr Pestilence concluded his statement: ‘I know he’s Famine’s best mate and all that, but, seriously: could you envisage any mortal cowering in abject terror at the Five Horsemen of the Apocalypse – Pestilence, War, Famine, Death and Derek?
