Rawlplug launches new range of wall fixings for jelly

The world’s leading manufacturers of wall fixing and anchoring systems, has announced the launch of its latest product specially designed to facilitate nailing jelly to a wall. ‘Our revolutionary range of jelly fixings makes it easy to nail jelly securely to both solid and plasterboard walls,’ claimed a Rawlplug spokesman. ‘They are also suitable for use with blancmange, custard and most types of trifle.’

The new fixings come in a variety of colour-coded types for different applications: yellow, suitable for lemon flavoured jelly or custard; red, for strawberry flavoured jelly; and brown for chocolate flavoured blancmange or trifle bases.

However in one test a DIY magazine reviewer said that attempting to use the new fixings still presented a major challenge ‘This is like trying to – well I can’t think of an appropriate metaphor.’
