BBC unveils landmark badly-shot nature series
The BBC has unveiled a landmark wildlife documentary series as the flagship for its autumn schedule. Hosted by veteran broadcaster and naturalist Sir David Attenborough, the show promises to be ‘the worst-shot nature series in the BBC Natural History Unit’s entire 50-year history’.
‘We want to bring viewers closer to the real experience of nature photography,’ Sir David declared in a BBC press release. ‘Series highlights will include some wobbly footage of something up a tree, three hours of film from inside an empty badger’s set and a long-range shot of a barely discernable blob filmed in grainy night-vision.’ Viewers will also be able to watch this poorly-filmed program in HD.
