Channel 4 has unveiled a controversial new show for their summer line up.  Hosted by Euthanasia advocate Dr Philip Nitschke, Come Die With Me will feature four terminally ill or clinically depressed contestants, who will visit each others houses for a last meal – preferably cooked in a gas oven.

They will then vote on the best meal, with the winner receiving a cash prize and the chance to top themselves via a method of their choice.  Producers are confident that this cocktail of mentally unstable people in a reality setting will produce ‘great exploitative television ‘ and will ‘beat Big Brother into a cocked hat’ in the voyeuristic ratings battle – assuming anyone watches it.
