Revisionist historian claims Hitler was actually satirising fascism
Right wing historian David Irving has claimed that the infamous leader of Germany’s Third Reich Adolf Hitler was actually playfully sending up fascism, but that some of his followers had misinterpreted his subtle satire.
‘Just as Sacha Baron Cohen fooled people with his Borat and Bruno creations, Adolf Hitler created this hilarious extreme anti-semitic character, that fooled millions. Some might say the joke went to far, but that was Adolf for you. He always took it right to the edge.’
