Paedos ban at swimming pool ‘a mistake’, say council
Paedophiles who were banned from a public pool in Suffolk have received an apology after officials admitted they mistook the sexual predators for a popular brand of very brief swimming trunks.
A spokesman for Bungay District Council said that a ban on the tiny trunks often worn by middle-aged, overweight and hairy men was introduced after complaints from other pool users and fears they were frightening children. He said: “Staff interpreted the ruling incorrectly. Paedos are welcome anytime as long as they’re appropriately attired and pay attention to the ‘No Petting’ sign in the pool area.”
