Sun publishes Gordon Brown’s letter to Santa
Santa Clause has today complained about the standard of Gordon Brown’s Xmas wish list letter which he received over the weekend.
‘Frankly it’s an insult’ Santa told The Sun, ‘he spelled my name ‘Satan’ and his handwriting’s a disgrace.’
Downing Street has insisted that the Prime Minister did not intend to cause offence, and Gordon Brown has personally spoken to Santa to apologise, but Santa has responded in a stinging editorial, saying ‘He may want a new pen and a dictionary for Christmas, but I think I’ll be bringing him a Tory tie and a year’s subscription to The Sun instead.’Click to send this story to a friend
