Missing libido discovered at Virgin lost property
A 53-year-old civil engineer from Warwickshire has had his sex drive returned to him after he lost it on a train. Anthony Travers says he lost his libido somewhere between Coventry and London Euston four months ago.
‘I was heading to a meeting when I started to feel strange,’ he explained. ‘It was only when I got home that I found out what was wrong. And I wasn’t pleased.’
Mr Travers’ wife Yvonne was also put out, but to a lesser extent. ‘It was a surprise not to have to accommodate Anthony every Sunday,’ she said.
‘While I was in the pub,’ Mr Travers said, ‘somebody mentioned Milton Keynes and it clicked. So I phoned Virgin’s lost property office.’ A spokesman for Virgin Trains said they were happy to help.
‘It’s not often we give someone the will to live,’ he said. ‘We normally just take it away.’
