Last man in manufacturing leads UK out of recession
All news gathering sources have descended on Morris Engineering in Stoke-on-Trent to take pictures of the last man making something in the UK. Rafal Wizowski, who has worked at the firm for six months, will be on the front page of all newspapers tomorrow and all media websites by this evening.
Wizowsk said that he was bemused by the attention though did say that he picked up four hours overtime last month, which was to catch up after he had four days off over Christmas. This increase in hours was enough to show a 0.1% increase in manufacturing production over the last three months.
