Piers Morgan cries during TV interview as Gordon Brown asks about his lost moral compass

In his most revealing interview to date, Mr Morgan sobbed as he came to terms with the loss of his moral compass.

Many viewers were surprised that a man who has held some of the highest offices in the world – such as Canary Wharf – Morgan agreed to be on a chat normally frequented by Prime Ministers and spin doctors with a book to plug.

But he shocked viewers even further when he appeared to be deeply moved by the moral vacuum at his core, which he has been forced to cover up with a policy to be ‘cool’, ‘ironic’ and ‘edgy’.

Morgan told Brown he is to stand for re-election as Britain’s Smuggest Man.
