Insufficient time has elapsed for crazed Northumbrian gunman Raoul Moat to be used as a pub quiz question, an official report has ruled.
‘Its just too soon,’ said Mike Robinson, General Secretary of the National Association of Question Setters. ‘Apart from his relatively unusual name, which is easier for people to remember, the fact that he was such a complete nutter means his name will remain etched on people’s memories for a while yet.’
Added Robinson: ‘In the meantime though, we don’t think it’ll be long before people will forget the name of the first Chilean miner rescued, so that’ll probably be making an appearance in the new year. Juan something or other, wasn’t it?’
