Toilet stand-off as embarrassed office worker refuses to leave cubicle

A tense stand-off in a Luton office has entered its second hour, with an unnamed worker refusing to leave his cubicle for fear of being identified and embarrassed.

Eyewitnesses said the worker had entered the cubicle as normal before ‘really letting rip’. Things then took a turn for the worse when the worker panicked that he might be identified which has sparked a stand-off between him, two HR officers, and the cleaner, with no resolution in sight, as it is believed the worker has access to an internet-enabled phone.

A company spokesman commented: ‘All I can say is that an unnamed worker with brown shoes has been in a cubicle for two hours and shows no sign of leaving while other people are in the toilet.’

‘We hope to have the situation resolved shortly, although even then, you might still want to leave it ten minutes.’
