DIY SOS team to rebuild Gaddafi’s house

Nick Knowles has announced that the latest DIY SOS project will be to rebuild Colonel Gaddafi’s bombed house in Libya.

‘We got a call from this chap in Libya,’ said the scruffy presenter. ‘He said his house was in a right state due to being bombed by western infidel scum who would be hung from meat hooks along the streets of Tripoli for the vultures to peck at for a thousand years. It had us all in tears when we heard. He’d started some repairs himself but had to stop due to trying to hold his crumbling empire together, massacring his people and giving out fake ceasefires.’

Filming is set to begin next week, with all the usual humorous mishaps expected along the way such as paint spills, badly fitting skirting boards and the occasional break whilst the various comedic tradesmen are beaten for anti-Gaddafi comments.
