Man who signed iTunes agreement faces lifetime in bondage

A Luton man who signed an online iTunes agreement is now facing a life in bondage to Cupertino-based company Apple Inc.

James Ashcroft, 24, said that when he logged onto the Apple iTunes store he was invited to agree to fifty pages of terms and conditions. ‘I just checked the box saying I agreed,’ he explained. ‘I didn’t bother to read through all the fine print and now lawyers have told me I’m owned entirely by Apple.’

Mr Ashcroft said he felt particularly miffed as he had gone to the iTunes store to purchase a 59p media law app.
