Queen’s Park Rangers have announced the completion of the transfer of Newcastle git Joey Barton to Loftus Road.
‘This is very exciting for us – I have always greatly admired Joey as a git,’ said manager Neil Warnock. Barton will now be the highest earning git at QPR and fans are hoping the arrival of Joey will attract other big gits to the club.
‘We are hoping to get four or five more gits in before the transfer window closes,’ explained Warnock. ‘We’ve been in negotiations with several other gits, including injured Hull git Jimmy Bullard. We liked Jimmy as a git but we didn’t feel he was a Premier League git – he’ll be better off with those gits at Ipswich.’
Talks are also being held with tiny git Sean Wright-Phillips and there are even rumours about Craig Bellamy joining QPR. ‘I have to hold my hands up and admit Craig isn’t a git,’ confessed Warnock. ‘He’s a sheepshagger.’
