New Apple boss admits defeat and quits
Fruit manager, Juliette Cavaillier, has admitted her best efforts to motivate her department of apples have come up short, and has labelled the fruit ‘completely unresponsive’.
Cavaillier, who initially welcomed the challenge when she found herself in charge of the under-performing group of 23 Gala, Golden Delicious and Bramley apples in a company shake-up in August, has reportedly tried a number of different team-building approaches, but the group was ‘unmoved’, and continued to miss targets.
Ms Cavaillier is said to be quitting her post as apple boss to become a piano teacher instead, but has concerns that teaching a class full of pianos might not be any easier, according to her cousin, a drill sergeant in the Canadian army.
