Missing student Charlie Bradfield may have left home because his parents approved of everything he did, according to friends. ‘Charlie got really frustrated at the continual acceptance of his rebellious behaviour,” said Alfie Brooks, 17. ‘All I have to do is turn the telly up too loud to get a reaction from my dad.’
It is believed that Charlie stormed out of the house when his father Graham, 48, expressed admiration for the newly-tattooed spider’s web across his face. ‘It wouldn’t have been my choice but the tattoo artist had made a lovely job of it,’ Graham Bradfield later told police.
The public are asked to look out for a young man around six feet tall wearing low-slung jeans that show his Calvin Klein underpants, a stained and torn white T-shirt and a black leather jacket with ‘Kill The Pigs’ on the back. His father added that Charlie’s taste in clothes was ‘quite original, really’.
