Traditionalists were mourning the end of an era yesterday, as it was announced that there are now no Citroen Saxos remaining in their original condition. The last one was recently bought by Darren ‘Daz’ Smith of Wakefield and now has a 1000 watt bridgable amp, speakers where the boot used to be. It has also been lowered, fitted with 18 inch wheels, a wide bore exhaust, electric blue and yellow respray and most disturbingly a pair of fluffy dice has been installed.
According to Daz ‘this car used to be worth £500 max, but I’ve just spent ten grand on it, who’s the smart one now?’ He added ‘The sounds is so loud and the base so phat that me an’ Shaz, Caz, Faz and the rest of the krew have to listen to it from across McDonanalds car park.’
Art critic Brian Sewell was reported to be interested in purchasing the last pimped up Saxo ‘for me and my hoe.’
