A special edition of Ready Steady Cook has wowed viewers as Antony Worrall Thompson managed to make a full 7 course banquet for 8 people, without exceeding the £5 limit.
‘I have no idea how he did it, the man’s a genius.’ said one impressed audience member, who struggles to feed a family of four for £5, even without the selection of wines and cheese course that Thompson managed to include. ‘To get the ingredients that he did on that budget is nothing short of a miracle. Even without the food, just getting eight bottles of wine for a fiver is an absolute steal!’
