IMF raises global growth target by ‘about this much’
The IMF has forecast an increase in global economic growth by ‘about this much’ over the coming year; a measure that will equate to about an ‘inch or so’ on most standard PowerPoint presentations.
Governments have also agreed that by implementing a 640 x 480 resolution and changing the scale used on both sides of the graph, the global economy can look forward to increased gains in future quarters, although some of this may be offset by squinting.
Help will also come in the form of a new really big £20 note which experts predict could be up to 8% larger than the previous one.
The outlawing of downward or horizontal arrows is also expected to boost confidence and reduce the possibility of a double-dip recession; a term which, in itself, is to be gradually be phased out in favour of the new term ‘super happy fun time’.
