Man living on Rockall visited by Jehova’s Witnesses
Scottish endurance adventurer Nick Hancock has had his first day on the remote rocky outcrop of Rockall disturbed by visitors attempting to tell him ‘the good news about Jesus’. He told them he did not wish to be disturbed but then was back at the door of his pod minutes later explaining to another caller that he did not wish to buy any over-priced dusters or ironing board covers. Other visitors have included a man offering to sell fresh fish, an unconvincing charity collector and the postman asking if he would accept a parcel for another adventurer who is currently staying on Sertsey.
Hancock has now locked his ‘rockpod’ and is accepting no other visitors until the pizza delivery man arrives in half an hour or less.Click to send this story to a friend
