Video game developers Activision are to launch their most challenging Call Of Duty yet in a special seasonal edition of the franchise.
The Marks and Spencer’s Foodhall on Christmas Eve edition will allow game players to play as either a member of staff or as a customer.
Tony Bigony, game developer said:
“Players will be fighting to survive. As a customer they’ll have to buy enough Brussel sprouts to feed their family, get milk where the best before date is still a few days away and also try to not buy useless unwanted shit for their other halfs. And they’ll have to do this whilst competing against hundreds of others.
“And as a a staff member you’ll have to try and stock up as customers come at you with their questions. Because they just keep coming.”
The game is the first seasonal game the company have launched since their unsuccessful Chris Rea’s Driving Home For Christmas for the Sega Megadrive. The aim there was to drive Chris Rea home for Christmas whilst looking at the driver next to you.
