‘Homeless and destitute are nearly all British’ says relieved government
Immigration Minister Mark Harper has calmed Tory nerves with the news that nearly all the destitute and homeless beggars found huddled in doorways on New Year’s Day were British and not from Eastern Europe. The news that the UK’s growing army of beggars was indigenous and not from Europe was welcomed in Conservatives clubs and associations across the UK while Tory staff at Millbank decided to leave the Christmas bunting up for another week in celebration.
Harper assured Tory voters that police crack-downs and arrests for vagrancy showed nearly every person found living in a cardboard box under the M4 fly-over was born here in the UK and not a newly arrived EU migrant expecting hand-outs and a place to live. Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt also welcomed the news saying it was good for the UK taxpayer that it would be poor British families being refused treatment on the NHS and not health tourists from the EU.Click to send this story to a friend
