A new area of the South China Sea where it’s believed the MH370 aircraft may have disappeared, is as large as something or other according to experts.
Earlier estimates said the search area was the size of several football pitches placed end to end, assuming a football pitch the size of Alaska.
One expert said the search area ‘is easily be as vast as something or other or even vaster than that’.
‘It’s like looking for a needle in a haystack where you don’t where the haystack is,’ said a member of the National Union of Farmers.
‘It’s like looking for a missing airliner in the South China Sea’, said one aviation expert.
