QPR boss Harry Redknapp says he’s ‘not got a clue’ and ‘couldn’t give a toss’ about advances in communications technology over the last thirty millennia.
Redknapp was responding to questions following a ban by the FA on QPR’s Rio Ferdinand for using a derogatory word on a social network site.
‘I don’t know what a Twitter is. Or an Interweb, a fax, a radio, a Morse code, a book or a bleeding hieroglyph come to that’, he explained. ‘But I’m not completely thick. I do know what a PC is; I’ve been nicked by enough of the bastards over the years.’
‘I’ve heard that there’s something where you can speak to a person in another room or even a mile away without shouting your lungs out. I think it’s called a telling-bone. Whatever.’
