European Space Agency fines Philae Lander for negative TripAdvisor Review

One star

A tourist has been fined 100 Euros by the European Space Agency (ESA) for leaving critical comments about them on travel review website Travel Advisor.

Mr Philae Lander posted the negative comments whilst holidaying on the ‘paradise retreat’ of Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. The ESA refused to comment on the fine, but pointed out that Mr Lander had ‘not yet paid for the tour’.

On a poor line from his holiday resort Mr Lander said, ‘I don’t mind a long haul flight as long as the destination and accommodation make it worth while. I tried to contact the ESA about my concerns only to be fobbed off by complaints about my ‘crap parking’ and demands for soil samples. In frustration I filed my review with TripAdvisor. I think it was fair.’
