The Prime Minister has come under fire for posting pictures on his Facebook page in which he appears to be going over the top in the Battle of the Somme, leading the charge of the Light Brigade, and defeating the French at Agincourt.
A spokesman for Mr Cameron said: ‘Dave is a natural born fighter and leader of men, and he has more respect for British war veterans than anyone else, especially welfare profligate socialists.’
‘So this year, as a mark solidarity with our brave boys, he has not only sung the national anthem, worn lots of poppies and kept his top button done up, but has personally gone that extra mile and literally put himself right in the thick of it. Metaphorically speaking, of course.’
Mr Cameron is expected to look very smart on Remembrance Sunday.
