Pensionable age raised ‘to complete Candy Crush’

A spokesman from the Department of Work and Pensions said: ‘Research has suggested that the average player, who traditionally plays the game when he or she should be working, or at least taking a light nap in the House of Commons, will need several more years to reach the end,’ ┬áhe said, adding that increasing infirmity and memory loss due to advancing years is likely to put back the date of finishing the addictive on-line game by a few years more.

‘It’s possible that some workers will not be able to retire, given the ravages of time and the increasingly difficult levels in Candy Crush,’ he explained. ‘And nobody should expect to see anyone playing an on-line game in their own time.’
