Following the roaring success of the original Australian hostage/apology comedy film starring Amber Heard and Johnny Depp, Warner Brothers have announced that a sequel is already planned. ‘Australian Apology 2: Ruff Justice’ will feature the Yorkshire terriers Pistol and Boo voiced by Heard and Depp in a body swap comedy based in and around the Australian outback.
The dogs will be pursued by evil Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce (Benicio del Toro), who will work in the department for two months to acclimatise for the role. Rumours that he has prepared for the role by killing other undocumented dogs remain unconfirmed. Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman and Eric Bana will appear as a pack of dingoes that the dogs will encounter, while Russell Crowe will play Joyce’s evil pitbull and Cate Blanchett will play a friendly kangaroo.
