One British bulldog complained: ‘I’ve heard of Polish dogs sleeping six to a kennel without so much as a blanket or doggie bowl and chewing on old bits of rope to keep their teeth clean….I’ve even saw one go into the wet grass to fetch a tennis ball….not only that, it was lashing it down the other night and the Polish dog didn’t once insist on going for a walk. I usually bark and bark and bark until somebody can’t stand it any longer.’
‘At one time you could drop in at the vet’s without an appointment…but now you have to wait three weeks just to get seen. And don’t get me started on doggie training….I can’t get our pups in at our local dog school for love nor money. UK dogs are being left behind….it’s developing into a race to the nearest bottom’.
