Chuck Berry: A tribute

chuck-berry1

Riding along in an automobile
My body is cold, I cannot feel
Could anything be any worse?
The automobile is now my hearse
Through cemetr’y gates it’s drivin’ slow
With a very particular place to go

Riding along in an automobile
My body’s broke, it will not heal
My music’s done and I’m supposing
From now on I’m decomposing
The driver don’t play radio
The minister wonders which way I’ll go

Riding along in an automobile
A choir of angels at my heels
It’s great up here and here’s the thing
The angels like my ding-a-ling!
