90 year old James ‘Nipper’ Jenkins is an early contender for this year’s Nobel Literature prize. Jenkins is acknowledged as one of the leading poets of the 20th century with his seminal work being:
My friend Billy has a ten foot willy
He showed it to the girl next door
She thought it was a snake and hit it with a rake
And now it’s only five foot four
Poet laureate, Carol Ann Duffy, said: ‘It’s about time that Nipper Jenkins has been recognised. Not only did he write the classic Buffalo Billy, he also was a strong influence on the beautiful ballad; ‘The hairs on her dicky-di-do’.’
Jenkins is currently the favourite for the Nobel prize, but any writer of the Donald Trump obituary is likely to overtake him.
