President Trump has agreed to turn what could have been a global conflagration into a quite literal war of words. He agreed yesterday to settle the United States’ differences with North Korea with a game of online Scrabble, with rules set by the UN and Hasbro. Mr Trump showed off his superior strategic thinking by choosing to go first, thereby potentially accessing the valuable centre double word score. Kim Jong Un was left to choose which language the game would be played in. Mr Jong-un chose Korean.
Trump tweeted: ‘Kim had better play NICE because I always beat everyone in my famil….waddya mean I have to play in Korean? NOT FAIR. BRING ME THE NUKE BRIEFCASE!’
