Manchester City success based on rush goalie

Pep Guardiola has admitted that Manchester City’s fine start to the season success is down to a series of playground tactics including jumpers for goalposts, a 0-1-1-15 formation and having the goalkeeper run around the outfield like a deranged spider. Ignoring the convention of using the fattest boy as ‘stick goalie’, City are maintaining a high-tempo style, only stopping when the ball gets lodged on the school roof or stolen by the bigger boys.

Guardiola has also retained ‘first pick’ privileges in the transfer market, thanks to his dad owning the ball. However, the team will continue to try new tactics in case others try to copy his methods, including an adaption of ‘Last Man Back’, with no one responsible and the goalmouth left glaringly open, otherwise known as ‘Brexit’.
