May leaves polling booth without voting, saying she’ll decide in a few days time

Theresa May has left her Westminster polling station with polling card still in hand, having been unable to come to a decision regarding who to vote for in the UK’s local elections.

Insiders have suggested that the deferment was due to her preferred option not being on the ballot slip, and that she is awaiting ‘revised proposals’, whereupon she’ll be able to cast her vote after a few days of deliberation.

David Davis abruptly dismissed concerns that it would be too late to vote by then because the polls would be closed, saying that May would make this decision as part of ongoing negotiations and that:  ‘Theresa won’t be bullied into making unilateral concessions due to a self-imposed deadline, cynically designed to create pressure’.
