Boris Johnson has ended his political career, by comparing Teresa May’s Brexit plan to a suicide vest, according to leading conservatives. He previously ended his career by publishing an article insulting to Liverpudlians. Other career-ending incidents included his resignation as foreign secretary, and in 2004 he was booted out as shadow arts minister for allegedly lying about an extra-marital affair.
When questioned about the latest political storm, he said: ‘I’m tired of politics anyway. All I want these days is power.’
