Trump economic advisor struggles for credit.

Govt Shutdown

President Trump’s chief economic advisor, Kevin Hasset, has stated in an interview that US workers who are not being paid during the ongoing government shutdown or funding the Mexican Wall can apply for regular bank loans during this period.

‘I don’t see why they can’t get credit,’ he said ‘After all the US government has stated that all back pay will be paid in full, so its a loan effectively backed up by the government.’

However economic commentators were quick to pour scorn on the statement with one suggesting that this was clear evidence, as if any was needed, that within the Trump Presidency bubble it is indeed possible to be simultaneously a mover, a shaker and completely clueless.
