Starting next year, a smaller, silver versions of the Oscars will be awarded to films that unfortunately have not won any Oscars in any number of categories but should have, claim anonymous sources in the film academy. This year’s Academy award ceremony has caused controversy among film lovers, as everyone thinks the film they like is without a doubt the best film of the year. Many members are secretly lobbying for one more Oscar ceremony to be held shortly after the original one.
‘We will spend a week or so after the ceremony monitoring media, film critics and ordinary movie fans and decide which should have won,’ said one of them. ‘To redeem ourselves for the mistakes of the past, we might also retroactively award past masterpieces. For example, it’s easy to imagine that “Love, Actually” has a big chance of winning nine small silver statues.’
