A Brexit voter has taken his old firm to a tribunal for constructive dismissal saying he was “booted out”, merely for handing in his notice.
‘I told them I was willing to be an outside consultant on 5 times my salary or I’d keep the £39b of stationary I’d nicked, and they just said to work my notice and clear my desk.’
‘Then this job in the States came to nothing so I asked for an extension…and the bastards said…well, actually they said yes but in such a way that it might as well have been no.’
“I told them where to shove it, so here I am, essentially sacked just because I quit. They’re so unreasonable.”
