A massive UK-wide ‘County lines’ drugs bust has captured 700 criminals carrying a combined total of £400,000 of drugs, worth around £571 per dealer. Police chiefs confirmed this was not enough for a good night at the station for a couple of CID officers.
‘We need at least £900 worth for a decent evening said one senior office. These dealers are amateurs and we hope for more professionally orientated dealers to be arrested in advance of our forthcoming Christmas party. Statistically wed’d have picked up more coke, if we’d just got Michael Gove to empty his pockets’.
