In his first major speech of the current election campaign, Nigel Farage has suggested that Boris Johnson should invite him take part in any future meetings with the EU, insisting that he could hold a pivotal role in any WTO negotiations.
The serial self-publicist who has changed his political allegiances more often than Dr Who has regenerated in recent years and has never had a seat in Westminster, and who now apparently never will, nevertheless threw down a challenge to the Conservatives. ‘Arrange an election pact with me or face annihilation forever by my Brexit party’.
Speaking to supporters at a rally being held in the Enoch Powell Suite of the Skinhead and Bullyboy Public House in Chelmsford, an extremely angry and emotional Mr Farage told them both:
‘Its exclusion, exclusion, exclusion. Why wasn’t I invited on Strictly, where’s my invitation to I’m a Celebrity, why wasn’t I the best man at Harry and Meghan’s wedding? Don’t they know who I am?’
