Defending misleading stats produced by her party, Jo Swinson revealed that four thirds of the electorate agree with her position, eight days a week. This built on her party’s ‘best European election result in one hundred years’, since records began in 1979.
According to Lib Dem graphs, Lib Dems were second in every constituency – along with being third and fourth. And if you spelt Lib Dem backwards it spells success.
Despite this, there are accusations circulating that Swinson’s pie charts no longer contain pie, her scatter diagrams are scatty and her flowcharts are full of sh$t. This contradicts her claim that 40% of her stats were accurate and the remaining 61% were very accurate indeed.
In some cases election publicity missed scale, baselines and occasionally the laws of time and space. A spokeswoman said:
‘It’s as simple as two plus two equals five. Or first past the post equals Swinson as PM’.
