North of England ‘to be expanded if we win’, says Labour

Noting that the Labour plans to relocate the Treasury, chunks of Parliament, a gazillion houses and many Government departments to the North, the Leader of the Opposition has conceded that when the investment is carried out the North will, technically, be full. ‘It’s pretty full now,’ he said today, ‘I’ve been walking all around the North and there are houses and people everywhere,’ he added.

To support the programme Jeremy Corbyn has said the North will be ‘expanded, relocated if necessary.’ He explained that the start of the North will be along the northern shore of the River Thames, Birmingham will technically be in the South and Warrington will be classed as in the ‘North, North West corner of England.’

‘Scotland will be that land far, far away that nobody knows about,’ he said, ‘just as it always has been.’
