The SNP and the Lib Dems have been unsuccessful in getting Jo Swinson a spot on Hollyoaks, Holby City and Gardener’s Question Time. Worse still is that ‘I’m Celebrity’ has rejected her, as she does not fulfil the basic criteria of being ‘someone we have heard of’.
This blow follows both parties being excluded from a Prime Ministerial debate, purely because neither party has a Netflix account. Instead, they will be forced to watch the debate three months later, when it is repeated on ‘Dave’.
Swinson is said to be furious, as this was her only opportunity to ask Prime Minister Boris Johnson, what a Prime Minister does? And her only chance to ask Jeremy Corbyn, when is a good time to plant marrows?
A ‘I’m a Celebrity’ producer explained: ‘The Lib Dems argued that a Remain perspective needed to be on the show, but that’s what everyone in the jungle is trying to do. Remain. But if you think you can do it by revoking Article 50, well, that’s harder to swallow than this kangaroo’s testicle’
