Football pundits working for Amazon have complained about the terrible working conditions including no cliché clauses and limited toilet breaks.
‘You have to get 5 good bits of commentary in every 10 minutes,’ a flabbergasted Jermain Jenas stated. ‘When I’m on BT I can go whole games without saying anything decent, it feels like modern slavery.’
Numerous fans complained about the over commercialisation of the broadcast. ‘I told Amazon I liked Man City and it told me that others that liked Man City also liked plastic fans,’ said Noel, 50, from Manchester. ‘Their algorithm must have gone wrong as who needs them in winter?’
Some fans boycotted the football on Amazon due to fears that they are destroying high street football broadcasters. ‘Plucky upstart broadcasters such as Sky and BT will close down due to Amazon bullying them,’ an exasperated Gary from Telford said. ‘Soon all we will have is a high street full of cheap tat broadcasters pushing things like Netball and American Football as though they are real sports!’
To showcase their new football coverage Amazon attempted to have the match ball delivered to the centre circle by an Amazon delivery driver. T his failed spectacularly as it was eventually found in a bin just outside the stadium despite people definitely being in and nobody hearing a knock at the door.
